With a passion for design and a desire to create exceptional French rings, in 2020 Atelier Mariusse & Bonnet imagined the fourth ring in the Les Intemporelles Collection, the Mathilde piece. Conceived thanks to the diverse technical skills of the Atelier’s jewelers, this Haute Joaillerie creation is as precious as it is feminine. A tribute to an important woman in the life of l’Atelier, the jewelers wanted to reinterpret the “full turn” style, while retaining the creative desires of their friend Mathilde, one of their first customers.

Part of the Les Intemporelles Collection, this diamond-paved ring truly belongs alongside the Atelier’s many extraordinary creations. Designed for women, the Mathilde ring perfectly embodies the codes of Atelier Mariusse & Bonnet. Sophisticated without being ostentatious, precious without being “blingbling”, delicate without being self-effacing, this creation perfectly illustrates the first name Mathilde and is easy to wear every day. Also created in 18-carat white gold, this French jewelry piece stands out for its ingenious craftsmanship, modernity and quality of execution.

A partner for life, this 12-gram creation had to be sparkling and comfortable to wear lightly every day. To achieve this, L’Atelier designed the ring body to be just the right size to fit easily on the finger and not get in the way of French jewelry lovers all day long. Set with 5.00 carats of FVVS diamonds, the Mathilde ring is one of l’Atelier’s most diamond-pavé creations, along with the Hiver ring.

Selected with care and precision in-house, all the gems featured on the ring are of exceptional quality. To bring out their reflections and play with the light, the diamonds are navette-cut and set in a jumble. An innovative and well-thought-out way to bring modernity to this French creation designed in Valence, Drôme. Made in 18-carat white gold and pink gold, these two gold colors each bring a totally different, yet resolutely unique universe to the Mathilde creation.

Imagined by a team of passionate jewelers, this Haute Joaillerie ring is also inspired by Mathilde, a refined, determined friend and lover of French jewelry. First drawn flat on paper by Christophe Mariusse, the head of the workshop, the exquisite beginnings of this precious piece are analyzed, erased and retouched to become the desired design.

Once the design has been validated, the ring is handcrafted in the Atelier valentinois. Wax and 3D mock-ups, cast iron adjustments, mounting, setting, polishing and quality control: all the jewellery-making skills are put to work to create a unique piece that respects the ancestral know-how of French Haute Joaillerie. With recognized professional expertise in the trade, Atelier Mariusse & Bonnet can also personalize this ring to suit the tastes and desires of its customers. There are no limits to creativity.
